Eowyn Walker, the WikiTree Forest Elf (General Manager), of, will share with us what WikiTree is and how best to use it.

Eowyn first got into genealogy at the age of fourteen.  Her mother was a specialist at their local Family History Library and would take her along during the summer.  She discovered not only did she love filling in pedigree charts and family group sheets, but she also enjoyed the puzzle aspect of genealogy.  Finding and seeing all the pieces and putting them together was exciting, and she was hooked.  Nearly two decades later, she started Turning Hearts genealogy to help others seek out their family histories.  In 2013, Eowyn became the Forest Elf (general manager) of  From 2013-2015, she was also fortunate to work with best-selling author  A. J. Jacobs  on his epic Global Family Reunion event.  She is currently working on an American Records certificate through the  National Institute of Genealogical Studies  and has a goal to become a certified genealogist within the next five years. is a FREE to use web site which houses a single family tree for planet earth, well, maybe not for trees and animals other than people, but a single family tree.  You belong in that tree!  And, you can share your family tree there to help make the WikiTree more inclusive.  Join us on Wednesday, October 13th at 2:00 pm to see how it works and what you can find there.

The Zoom meeting will start at 2:00 pm Mountain Daylight Time.  There will be a very brief business meeting prior to Eowyn's presentation.
